Orica SureTech was established to provide specialist technical services to existing and prospective Orica customers specifically relating to Orica products.

Our technical and manufacturing staff have extensive knowledge in all aspects of the design and operation of chemical plant and equipment. We can provide professional advice on issues ranging from the design of new storage and handling facilities and specific applications to the safety management and operation of existing facilities. Utilising our knowledge and experience can give you cost effective solutions to your chemical problems allowing you to get on with other things.

Services available through Orica SureTech include:

• Auditing, risk assessment and safety management reviews. We can audit your facilities against the relevant Australian Standards and current best practice, review the risks associated with your installations using a variety of risk assessment tools, and provide professional advice on compliance issues and any improvements that may be beneficial. We can also review recent incidents and "near misses" and design solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Specialist process design and review. We have extensive experience in the design of bulk handling and storage installations and specific applications for Orica products which are fully compliant with current standards and legislative requirements. Involving us in the early stages of design can save you needless delays, problems, down-time and additional costs in rectification work.
• Independent advice on commercially available equipment and installation. We can advise on the most suitable equipment and associated installation requirements to meet your needs.
• General trouble shooting and technical advice. With many years of chemical manufacturing experience we can also help with any general chemical problems.
• Product and safety training. We can provide awareness and operator level training for chlorine, anhydrous ammonia and corrosives (liquid caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite, hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, aqueous ammonia, etc.) through Chlorine Safeguard.
